This module introduces the theological perspectives and challenges for contextualising  faith in the workplace. It will also provide strategies and skills for managing the expectations and conflicts that arises from different quarters of the Church.

About The Author

Rev Dr David Wong, Dr Kara Martin & Rev Dr Alby Yip

Rev Dr David Wong is General-Secretary of the Bible-Presbyterian Church in Singapore, after being in pastoral ministry for over 40 years. Previously he served as Senior Pastor in two big  churches. He was also at Haggai Institute, Hawaii, where he oversaw leadership training for Christian leaders from over 100 nations.

Kara is the author of Workship: How to Use your Work to Worship God, and Workship 2: How to Flourish at Work. A sought after speaker on faith-life integration for workplace Christians, Kara is a lecturer with Alphacrucis College and Adjunct Professor with Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. She is also on the Advisory Board for the Global Lausanne Movement Workplace Ministry and on the Board of the Karam Fellowship. Kara has worked in media and communications, human resources, business analysis and policy development roles in a variety of organisations, and as a consultant.

Alby is the Senior Pastor of Zion Bishan Bible-Presbyterian Church. He is trained both in Christian and secular mediation skills. Convinced of his wider calling to peace-making in society, he serves as a member of the Singapore Mediation Centre and mediates on the panels of Associate Mediators and Family Mediators.
