About

The course looks at some of the challenges that are in the sexuality landscape and see how we can position ourselves for clarity and ride the cross winds to continue to be winsome, relevant and ahead of the winds of change. This module also provides a framework on structuring care for the individual in the context of an organisation by drawing from biblical teachings, and engaging scientific and medical studies. Through case studies, the module seeks to flesh out how these principles can be translated into the Body Life of the religious community.

  • Familiarise yourself with the challenges of the changing sexuality landscape

  • Learn how to care for those who struggle with sexuality Concerns

  • Understand the multi-disciplinary approach needed to engage the sexuality concerns of society

  • Upon completion of assignments, this module can be transferred as a 1.5 credit course to BGST's Postgraduate Programmes

Rev Dr Ng Liang Wei is serving at Lakeside Family Services as the Director of Sexual Wholeness Services and at Indigo & Co, which is an organisation focusing on Sexuality, as the Executive Director. He was previously pastoring Young Adults and Youths at Mount Carmel BP Church. Over the years, God has blessed him with the privilege of serving in emerging countries as a medical doctor alongside bible training in various church, corporate and non-profit settings. He is married and blessed with two children.
